Description: Since 1994, The State Child Death Review Board (SCDRB) in Kansas has worked diligently to review every child death in Kansas. This presentation will discuss the work of the SCDRB as well as updates to K.S.A 22a-243 which impacts law enforcement as well as county and district attorney’s across Kansas.
Objectives: Participants will be able to:
- Understand statute changes surrounding disclosures made by the State Child Death Review Board
- Locate resources and data provided by State Child Death Review Board
- Identify opportunities to utilize data provided by the State Child Death Review Board
